Microsoft had a few surprises at their E3 conference and one of them was the announcement of Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary. This is the HD remake of the first Halo game that a lot of people have been wanting for a long time now. The campaign is fully remastered and there will be Xbox Live co-op. The game will come with seven multiplayer maps, 6 from Halo: CE and one from Halo 2. Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary is looking at a November 15th, 2011 release date and a price point of $40.00 USD.
Ubisoft released a new trailer showing off the upcoming Assassin's Creed game, Assassin's Creed Revelations. This is just a teaser but the end of the trailer reveals that a longer trailer will be released on June 6th. June 6th will also be the day where Ubisoft will have their E3 press conference, so expect a lot of news regarding the title to be revealed then.
Today Sony announced a PSP remaster series, which are going to be PSP games upgraded to HD graphics and more for the PS3. Along with HD graphics the games will have new content, control schemes for the PS3 controller, 3D support and ad-hoc multiplayer will be available for some games.
Xblafans.com is reporting that a new Alan Wake game is coming and it will be only available to download on Xbox Live Arcade. The title will be called Alan Wake: Night Springs and the website claims to have screenshots but has been asked not to show them by Remedy until an official announcent is made.
